away from St. Mark’s Square. With a picturesque
view, the Palace, is situated in the real heart of the
city: banks, Generali Insurance company, the Venice Court
of Justice and the Venetian Regional Council are only
a few of the many organisations with offices here. Hundreds
of tourists pass in front of the Palace every day.
How to reach us
Sullam Palace is very easily reached: by water, using
the ACTV lines (Venice Public Transport Service), or on
foot, following the directions for St. Mark’s Square.
By public boat or bus: • From S. Lucia Railway Station:
take the public boat line n. 2 or n. 1 along the Grand
Canal, direction St. Marks, and get off at RIALTO boat-station
(a 15 minutes journey). • From Piazzale Roma (Car terminal)
follow the same directions from S. Lucia Railway Station
(lines n. 2 or n.1; about a 20 minutes journey). • From Marco Polo Venice Airport,
take the Alilaguna shuttle boat-service, which
stops at St. Mark’s boat-station (about
a 1- hour journey) or the ACTV bus n. 5; Another alternative
is the ATVO bus service from the Airport to Piazzale Roma
where you can catch the public boat lines n. 2 or n.1
to reach Rialto.
On foot:
Sullam Palace is easily reachable on foot from:
• St. Mark’s Basin: cross
St. Mark’s Square and pass through Fondamenta Orseolo
• Rialto: first cross San Salvador
Square in the direction of San Luca Square and then walk
along Calle Goldoni to the end.
